Seth Hill was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia in 1977. Growing up, he loved both drawing and being outdoors. He attended Hocking College, earning a degree in Wildlife Management and worked in the field for a short time. He then earned a degree in Graphics/ Fine Arts from Fairmont State University there he studied under John Clovis, Lynn Boggess and Diana Bland.
Seth has traveled the country extensively, painting on location. He has recently spent six months traveling across the continent, spending time in the Canadian Rockies, exploring the entire United States Pacific coast and returning across the south. Seth camped the entire trip and produced nearly a hundred and fifty paintings. Seth's work captures the beauty and wonder of the North American landscape in colorful and expressive ways.
Seth currently shows at the Bridge Gallery in Shepherdstown, West Virginia and BE Galleries in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
